Job Openings: School Teachers required in Bihar

Last date: Open

Curriculum: NCERT

Number of openings: 3 numbers for Males for a boys school and 3 number for Females for a girls school (total openings: 6)

Grades to teach: Grades 6 to 10

Medium of Instruction: English-Urdu combo, to move slowly to only-English.

Location: (1) Male teachers (3 numbers): Sabalpur village, 20km from Patna (capital of Bihar), for an Islamic madarsa with 700 resident students, and (2) Female teachers (3 numbers) for a Muslim girls school: Munger town. The selected teachers should be ready to be deployed anywhere in Bihar or Jharkhand where environment is conducive to imparting of quality education and safety can be assured. 

Subjects: (a) 2 Science teachers (1 male & 1 female), (b) 2 Mathematics teachers, (c) 2 Language teachers (1 male & 1 female) for English: will also be required to teach Social Sciences.

Minimum Qualification: Graduate with specialized training as a teacher

Additional skills: Preference will be given to applicants with initiative, good communication and motivational skills, working computer knowledge, managerial and administrative abilities, ready-learners and outdoor sports-lovers.

Language skills: Fluency in English. Working knowledge of Urdu and Hindi is required. Preference will go to those who can read, write and are comfortable speaking Urdu.

Experience: Minimum 2 years teaching experience in Grade 6 to Grade8 levels or higher.

Salary: Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience.

Interview: short-listed candidates will be called to attend an interview in Patna or in Munger on a convenient date for the candidate.

Note: The positions are of permanent nature for those who perform consistently.
